Many sports fans don’t follow pro wrestling or the WWE.

But many people took notice Monday when a wrestling legend claimed one of the sport’s rising stars is nothing more than a rip-off of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. That bold claim sent multiple names trending on Twitter.

And when one of those names is The Rock, better known today for his leading roles in many Hollywood blockbusters, it made for interesting times on Twitter.

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash claimed on the latest Kliq This podcast that LA Knight, who joined WWE’s main roster of wrestlers in 2022, is “nothing original.”

“Am I the only one that sees like an absolute rip off of The Rock to the point when he cut the promo on ******* Logan Paul or whatever the **** his name is,” Nash said (via Wrestling News). “The only thing he didn’t do is turn the ************ sideways. Jesus Christ, does everybody have amnesia? There’s nothing original.”

LA Knight, whose real name is Shaun Ricker, certainly gives off a Rock aura.

If LA Knight starts using some cooking-related catchphrase in the ring, watch out.

Whether Nash’s claim is true or not, Twitter exploded with interesting/hilarious/scary observations from wrestling diehards, movie buffs, and many others not worried about hitting their new Elon Musk “rate limit” for the day.
