WWE fans awoke to an absolutely massive announcement about the Money in the Bank premium live event.

WWE Money in the Bank will head overseas this summer. The company revealed that London, England would host the event, giving the city its first PLE in 31 years. The O2 Arena will hold the event, scheduled to take place on July 1, 2023.

BT Sport’s WWE account tweeted, “Making it rain in the Big Smoke. WWE Money in the Bank will be held at the O2 in London on July 1st! 2023 off to a bang!”

This is the second WWE event in as many years scheduled for Europe. Last September, WWE went to Cardiff, Wales for the critically-acclaimed Clash at the Castle event. England has desired an event of this status since SummerSlam 1992 at historic Wembley Stadium. That event drew a big house, and the same should likely be expected for the Money in the Bank event this July.

WWE fans went abuzz over the news, as one would’ve expected.

User Makyle_Ice joked that there’s “No Fourth of July to worry about in London!” WWE had to move MITB from Allegiant Stadium to the MGM Grand Garden Arena last July due to 4th of July weekend issues.

Like many others, user TMissbliss expressed that they were “definitely going” to the show!

User PeriodtRosePip was over the moon and going crazy, if their GIF choice was any indication.

User MaidenEnglish96 is, like so many others, contemplating saving up to go.

Cheekily, user S_ATL_Wrestling, a native of Atlanta, was dispirited that they took one event from Atlanta but gave the other to England.

User DMVFan123 was quick to give their way too early predictions for the show. Never too early though!

And user MeelzTV provided a hilarious video of Jay-Z singing Wonderwall to set the mood for the event.
