In recent years, there have been many unofficial holidays centered around something pop culture related. For instance, Star Wars Day is May 4 and Mario Day is on March 10. For WWE and Stone Cold Steve Austin, they have March 16 to celebrate 3:16 Day.

3:16 Day derives from Stone Cold’s iconic Austin 3:16 promo after winning the 1996 King of the Ring. That promo not only helped kick off Austin’s rise to superstardom within the pro wrestling industry but helped kick off the Attitude Era that eventually took over the company throughout the rest of the 90s and early 2000s.

This year, 3:16 Day is taking on a different tone. Stone Cold is set to show up at WrestleMania 38 to confront Kevin Owens, who has been calling out Austin and running down the state of Texas. It may or not result in a match but it’s sure to be a Texas-sized brawl.

The WWE Universe is celebrating 3:16 Day all day.
