When you walk into someone’s backyard and see an inflatable structure, it’s usually a kid’s bounce house. One company, however, has completely changed the game for adults.
This once-in-a-lifetime innovation is called the Paddy Wagon Pub. It is an inflatable Irish pub that will come to your backyard. Aside from having an inflatable pub, the company also can provide food, beverage and plenty of fun.
This idea comes from a company in Boston (where there is no shortage of Irishmen). The inflatable pub itself looks like more than a good time. But the company can provide so much more.
The inflata-bar looks like a real pub inside and out, complete with brickwork, chimneys, a fake fireplace and light fixtures printed right onto the vinyl. Ah, just like back in Killarney! The large version fits 80 people, while a smaller version can host a more intimate affair. In addition to whiskey and stout, the Paddy Wagon Pub offers a full range of drinks and Irish fare including Shepherds Pie, soda bread and curry fries. Of course if booze and the sound of an air pump outside doesn’t quite fit the mood you’re looking for, they’ll also provide live music or DJs, Irish step dancers, a “pour your own pint” demonstration, and even some friendly wolfhounds you can pet and cuddle and—who are we kidding we’re going to rent one of these things just for the dogs!
These guys are geniuses just for the idea that they can bring booze and dogs to you. That doesn’t even include all of the other amenities.
From the look of the company’s website, it’s unclear how far this business is willing to travel. With St. Patrick’s Day a short six months away, the folks at PaddyWagon might want to start getting some more inflatables ready.
