I’m glad that Garthlette James is one of New York City’s finest but maybe he missed a calling playing in the NBA.
As he was on duty in the Bronx, James took a moment to engage with the kids in the neighborhood who were playing basketball. James and another officer wanted a basketball to try and show off their skills.
But these officers didn’t set one foot on the basketball court. They wanted to shoot from the sidewalk and they ran the court without even being on the court as James sank this three.

It’s mighty impressive to sink a shot like that with the fence being a rather tall defender but to drain the three while wearing all your police gear is something else. All totaled, the degree of difficulty is pretty impressive and Officer James got it done.
