The amazing plays to finish Super Bowl LI

Even though you’ve surely seen these plays from the final minutes of the amazing Super Bowl LI, they’re worth watching again.

This direct snap to  James White for a crucial two-point conversion is a play that’s gotten lost in the discussion of the game due to the incredible plays that followed. But, man, this was a beautiful playcall, and beautifully executed by the Patriots. Even Tom Brady’s sell of it was great:

But it looked like the Falcons were going to secure the win after Julio Jones made this INSANE catch on the sidelines that only he could make:

But… the Falcons of course didn’t score, and Julian Edelman then one-upped Jones’ catch with what will be one of the most remembered catches of all-time:

And then James White with the Super Bowl-winning touchdown to cap off an absurd Patriots comeback:

Cavs and Wizards play one hell of a basketball game

The Cavs-Wizards game on Monday night in DC was a blast. Cleveland ultimately won the game in overtime, 140-135, but the Wizards made a statement in this game — and in general, with they’re play over the last few weeks — that they’re for real… at least in terms of possibly being the second-best team in the East (and perhaps giving the Cavs a series in a few months).

LeBron fouled out in overtime, but not before scoring 32 points, dishing out a career-high 17 assists, and hitting a game-saving shot. His 17th assist came on this Kevin Love three in the final two minutes of regulation (which featured back-and-forth awesome basketball):

Bradley Beal then hit this three to tie the game 116-116 with less than a minute to go in regulation:

And then LeBron hit this ridiculous buzzer-beater to send the game into overtime, and to draw some great reactions from fans at the Verizon Center:

After LeBron fouled out, Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving decided to take the game into his own hands, and LeBron loved it:

Kristen Stewart drops an F-bomb on her SNL opening monologue

It’s doubtful anyone watching a comedy program late on a Saturday night cared, but still a “whoops” moment from the 26-year-old actress:
