Man, how’s a guy supposed to win the Heisman Trophy when his own school won’t vote for him?
ULFBRecruiting is the verified Twitter account for University of Louisville football recruiting. If any Twitterfeed out there is going to have a vested interest in Lamar Jackson winning the Heisman Trophy, it’s this one. That makes their tweet Tuesday all the more baffling. And hilarious.
Though it was quickly deleted, the account that wants more than anything to showcase how great Louisville Football is, cast it’s vote for the upcoming Heisman Trophy. And it wasn’t star quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Before we start crying conspiracy theory, it appears that it’s an auto-tweeted response to Nissan’s Heisman poll and not the actual feelings of the U of L. That said, it does mean that someone working on the account doesn’t think Jackson and his 51 touchdowns should come back with the trophy this weekend. That’s probably not the kind of folks you want reaching out to recruits.
As you might imagine, Louisville fans had a bit of a reaction to the tweet.
