Right when we were getting ready for talking about three SEC teams going to the Elite Eight, Zak Showalter said, “Hold on a sec.”

Wisconsin trailed 68-56 with five minutes left in Friday’s Sweet 16 game against Florida. Despite battling, the Badgers still trailed by eight inside of two minutes.

Then they made one final rally, helped by some ill-advised plays from Florida, and needed one last shot down 72-69 with 6.5 seconds left.

So of course the Badgers handed their season to Showalter, a former walk-on, and he did this.

That game is now in overtime on TBS with the winner advancing to an Elite Eight matchup against South Carolina.
