Wide receiver Malik Nabers sparked serious buzz on Tuesday after his incredible performance during LSU’s Pro Day. The top-flight NFL Draft prospect had fans, analysts, and otherwise hyped for his pro potential following a stirring showing.
Nabers scorched the turf during his Pro Day session. The talented wide receiver ran a 4.35, an incredible number for a player of his position and caliber.
There’s plenty more to rave over as well. NFL Network reporter Cameron Wolfe shed light on his performance, noting his 40-yard dash time, his incredible 42-inch vertical jump, and a 10-foot-9-inch broad jump.
We knew Nabers had a bevy of athleticism, but we didn’t know it was quite like this.
His performance was the day’s talk, and many wondered what was next for Malik Nabers. While Marvin Harrison Jr. has all the attention, is Nabers actually WR1? A debate waged on.
What a day it’s been for Malik Nabers. 4.35 40-yard dash, 42” vertical jump, 10’9 broad jump
Talking with NFL personnel men, Malik Nabers is WR1 for multiple teams. It’s a tight split between him & Marvin Harrison Jr. Nabers is only helping himself today: pic.twitter.com/UbrPY1nHzV

The Pat McAfee Show weighed in on Nabers’ big day as well.

LSU legend Jacob Hester saw all that he needed to say. He boasted that Nabers was now the top wide receiver in the NFL Draft.

And Adam Schefter, who knows a few people, said “There are some NFL personnel men who believe Malik Nabers is this draft class’ top wideout.” So, that’s a pretty good source for that argument.

You can’t go wrong with any of the options. But with that said, it seems like Nabers will get a lot of attention his way in April.
