The Seattle Seahawks lost 24-17 to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, falling to 0-2 on the season. But at least they have an amazing rookie punter!
Seattle selected Australian punter Michael Dickson in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Drafting a punter is always an eye-opener, and drafting a punter before the seventh round is especially an eye-opener. But Dickson — who spent many years playing Australian rules football — is no ordinary punter. Heck, he was literally the Texas Bowl MVP for the Texas Longhorns in December, when he had 10 punts inside the 20 in one game (I even got videos of all 10 punts).
Dickson showed off his punting skills on Monday night, but what was really impressive: DROP KICK KICKOFFS!
This is … different?

He also tried a drop onside kick, but that didn’t go so well.
