Remember when Alex Trebek called a Jeopardy contestant a “loser” for an interest in nerdcore hip-hop? It was cold-blooded from Trebek, who has met tons of interesting and weird people as the host of Jeopardy for the last 30+ years. If you haven’t seen the viral video, here is what you missed.
While that was a hilarious moment, the generally affable Trebek now finds himself on the receiving end of some blowback as nerdcore is fighting back. Here’s nerdcore rapper Mega Ran with a response video:
And then here’s his concert from last night in Atlanta, when concert goers told Trebek to suck it.

For reference, Mega Ran started his rant by saying he chuckled at what Trebek said, and although he’s still miffed, who knows if there’s real venom there, because right now nerdcore rapping is getting more press than it probably ever has.
