Maybe Alec Baldwin’s impersonation of Donald Trump is too good?

That could be what Dominican news paper El Nacional is telling itself after using an Alec Baldwin photo (dressed as Trump) when discussing the President alongside Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The story was about Israel’s decision to not have settlers move back from disputed areas. Trump had commented that the decision did not help the peace process.

For such a serious topic, this photo couldn’t be any more of a disaster. The paper, which was published on a Friday, quickly apologized for the incident. It explained in its Saturday edition that they got the photo from the Associated Press. The information that the Associated Press sent out was in association to Baldwin’s appearance on Saturday Night Live.

El Nacional apologizes to the readers and to all those who felt affected by the publication,” stated the paper.

The story is made even better when you realize that Trump strongly dislikes Baldwin’s portrayal of him. Any other photo could’ve been acceptable but the one photo you use isn’t even of him.

Baldwin is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend so make sure to check Twitter often. President Trump will likely be providing a review of the sketch comedy show.
