The scandals just keep coming for the Baylor football team.

In the midst of a sexual assault investigation, it was reported Thursday that Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles — the son of recently departed Bears football coach Art Briles — is being investigated by the NCAA for a possible recruiting violation. This comes as Baylor is rivaling other troubled programs for being the most troubled program in the country.

While there isn’t much for specific details, it’s been reported that the investigation involved improper contact with a recruit. According to ESPN, the school is currently working to reduce the severity of the violation.

Aside from Kendal being related to the man in charge of the Baylor football program while the sexual assault scandal was taking place, he’s had his own trouble. He was suspended for the first game of the 2015 season because of improper “evaluation of prospective recruits”.

As we all know, the Bears’ football program has been a constant dumpster fire this season. Baylor has an interim head coach, while more and more details begin to emerge regarding the school’s negligence when it came to the actions of its football players.

Along with that, Baylor interim head coach Jim Grobe had to suspend starting running back Shock Linwood earlier this week for “attitude issues.”

This just seems like a bad situation that is only going to get worse. It will be interesting to see where Baylor ends up following this parade of scandals.
