Chael Sonnen is one of the best talkers in sports. Whenever he gets a microphone in his hand and an opponent in his crosshairs, you’d better believe that Sonnen isn’t going to let him off light.
On Thursday, Sonnen took aim at Tito Ortiz during a Bellator press conference in advance of their fight at The Forum in Inglewood on Saturday.
It wasn’t even close to being a fair fight.
Sonnen: I like distractions. I don’t even know what Tito is doing there. I came here to fight Wanderlei Silva and he was busy.

Chael Sonnen on Tito Ortiz's suit: "It looks like a local funeral parlor closed down. You look like a maître d' at Golden Corral."

I mean, he has a point.
Sonnen: The only person that has made money from using their mouth is Tito’s ex-wife.

Ortiz is shaking angrily and staring at Sonnen.

Ortiz: It fuels me. You hear that snoring noise? You’re going to hear that in the second round.
Sonnen: Hey, that was good! Good line.

Chael starts snoring into the mic while Tito shares an elaborate metaphor about lions in the jungle. Tito: "You've dug your grave, man."

Sonnen: There’s never been a round in the history of MMA where a judge scores based on who has a fire lit under his ass.

Sonnen: I’m on a legend’s ass-whipping tour. I’m starting with Tito, next is Wanderlei and I’ll let you know who’s after that.
— MMA Fighting (@MMAFighting) January 19, 2017
Chael Sonnen: "This fight is free, which means everybody can afford it except Tito. Because he's broke. Did you get that? Is this thing on?"
— Greg Beacham (@gregbeacham) January 19, 2017
Sonnen: We’re gonna be on Spike TV half naked fighting for a drunken audience. We don’t need any more motivation.

Sonnen, first round knockout.
Oh, as for the fight? Eh, probably Sonnen by decision.
