SAN FRANCISCO, CA – OCTOBER 06: Bryce Harper #34 of the Washington Nationals celebrates after scoring on a throwing error by Madison Bumgarner #40 of the San Francisco Giants in the seventh inning during Game Three of the National League Division Series at AT&T Park on October 6, 2014 in San Francisco, California. The Washington Nationals held their annual Nats Winterfest on Sunday, and they got a bunch of players to do some awkward lip-syncing.

MVP Bryce Harper sang The Temptations “My Girl” to a young girl, much to the delight of everybody.

Ace pitcher Max Scherzer took a more flamboyant root, gearing up with firefighter’s helmet while belting out Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Scherzer gets extra style points for effort on that one.

Keeping it more current, third baseman Anthony Rendon lip-synced to Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance with Me.”

Outfielder Michael Taylor was not very into his rendition of the same song – although he had a big smile the whole time.

More songs were sung in the competition, with Harper’s team eventually taking home the top prize. I wasn’t there, but personally, Scherzer seemed to get robbed for his electric performance.

Either way, fans seemed to have a great time and you have to give kudos to Nats players for taking the time to give back to the community.
