Here is a quick rundown of names we’ve heard in rumors the last couple days regarding potential trades and sigings both now and in the next couple offseasons: LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Paul George, Kristaps Porzingis, Jimmy Butler, Patrick Beverley, Manu Ginobli, Kyle Lowry, Pau Gasol, and so many more.

One name we hadn’t heard much until now was DeAndre Jordan. Over the next couple days, Jordan’s name could be popping up in rumors more and more, though:

Haynes expanded on the topic in his piece by saying the Clippers have spoken with a few teams about the big man.

The 28-year-old center Jordan has two years and $46 million left on his deal with the final year being a player option.

One team that may have surprised some as being one of the few to show interest in Jordan is the Phoenix Suns. One proposal had the Suns acquiring Jordan for Tyson Chandler and the number 4 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. According to Haynes, the Suns turned down that offer and not the Clippers.

It’s possible Blake Griffin could leave for another team when free agency begins in July and if he does, Los Angeles may be forced to sell unless they can add another big piece to replace Griffin.

Another reason they could be forced to sell and rebuild if they think Griffin may leave? As of 10:24 pm EST on Tuesday the Clippers don’t have a single pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. That makes it a little tough to rebuild a team that is currently the oldest in the league.
