Santa Clara first baseman Jake Brodt hit two grand slams in one inning during Saturday’s game against Boston College. He also hit another homer later in the game, giving him three on the day. Pretty good day at the ballpark.
The grand slams came in the seventh inning of Santa Clara’s 20-7 win. Here they are:

It’s safe to say that Boston College may have some bullpen issues. According to SantaClaraBroncos.Com, Santa Clara scored 14 runs in the seventh, and Boston College hit seven batters.
The second grand slam capped off a 14 run inning for the Broncos, which included seven hit batsmen.
That makes it even more impressive that Brodt — a preseason All-West Coast Conference Selection — was able to comfortably dig into the box and hit two grand slams.
Brodt becomes the seventh player in Division I to hit two grand slams in an inning since they began keeping track of such records in 1957.
And it’s only happened once in the major leagues, when Fernando Tatis did it for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1999 against Chan Ho Park at Dodger Stadium (also, why was Park still in for the second Tatis at-bat?):
