The Los Angeles Rams have a new logo coming in 2020 (to go with a new home- SoFi Stadium), and teased that with a tweet on Saturday (Update: Scroll down to see the official logo).

Well, a new Rams logo made the rounds on social media on Sunday, and was met with plenty of criticism. One common complaint: the leaked logo looks as much like (if not moreso) a Los Angeles Chargers logo:

And later on Sunday, Yahoo Sports! reporter Charles Robinson confirmed that this really is the new Rams logo!

We’ll have to see the new uniforms and helmets to conclude more, but the Rams’ organization will likely be disappointed with the initial response to the logo.

UPDATE: The Los Angeles Rams unveiled their new logo on Monday. It at least looks a bit less Chargers-esque with the Rams’ royal blue, and the logo of the Ram (with no LA) is a pretty unique look.
