Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray was ejected from Monday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after receiving a Flagrant 2 foul for hitting Tim Hardaway Jr. in a place you really don’t want to be hit. The incident took place with the Nuggets leading 80-73 with 4:51 to go in the third quarter.

Jamal Murray got ejected for a flagrant 2, which I think means he hit both of 'em. https://t.co/n5iQCSCm3u

Perhaps that motivated Hardaway, who went on a 7-0 run all by himself after taking that hit and scored 16 points in the quarter.
Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 16 points in the third quarter tonight, matching his third quarter total against Orlando for his highest in a quarter this season.
