The ACC Tournament has had more than its share of drama so far, including punches and suspensions, upsets, and buzzer-beaters. Another in that last class came Thursday, with the Miami Hurricanes taking down the Boston College Eagles 71-69 in overtime on a buzzer-beating layup from Jordan Miller.

That’s a great quick transition from the Hurricanes following that rebound, and Charlie Moore makes a tremendous long pass that sets up Miller for the layup. And Miller himself (seen at left above hugging Moore afterwards) does well to bring that in on the run and get the layup up just before the buzzer.
This is a rough blow for Boston College, especially after their 82-77 win over Wake Forest Wednesday (which marked a #13 seed taking down a #5 seed), but they did have their own opportunities. In addition to the drive at the start of this clip above, they also came quite close to winning in regulation, tying the game with 21.2 seconds left and then just missing a game-winning halfcourt shot:

Meanwhile, the fourth-seeded Hurricanes will now move on to face the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils (who beat the Syracuse Orange 88-79 Thursday) Friday. In the other half of the bracket, Notre Dame plays Virginia Tech, and North Carolina plays Virginia; those winners will face off Friday, with the victor facing the Miami-Duke winner in the tournament championship Saturday night.
