Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban was stretchered off the ice during the team’s game against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night, after suffering a neck injury on a freak collision with teammate Alexei Emelin.

Subban was taken to a local hospital, but the good news is he is alert, and has normal movement in his arms and legs:
P.K. Subban suffered a neck injury and was taken to hospital for further testing. He has normal movement in extremities.
