The Kansas City Chiefs clinched a spot in this year’s Super Bowl last month with an AFC Championship game win over the Cincinnati Bengals, defeating Joe Burrow and the Bengals in thrilling fashion thanks in no small part to a crucial play from star defensive end Chris Jones.

The Bengals had a chance to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, but Chris Jones came through clutch, sacking Joe Burrow on a third down to force a Bengals punt and allowing the Chiefs to drive for the game-winning field goal.

It was a crucial play from Jones, and it sounds like he’s still enjoying it almost two weeks later. In fact, he now says that Burrow is his favorite quarterback to sack in the entire NFL.

“Chris Jones was asked who his favorite QB is to sack … Without hesitation: ‘Joe Burrow.’ #Chiefs #Bengals #SuperBowl,” Lombardo said in a tweet.

Between these recent comments from Jones and the Cincinnati Bengals referring to the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium as “Burrowhead” leading up to the AFC Championship game, it sure sounds like the NFL has quite the rivalry brewing in the AFC. Hopefully, it leads to more classic postseason games just like this year’s AFC title game.
