Last week, United States President Joe Biden was seen using some notes during a recent press conference that appeared to reveal that the interview session was scripted and that Biden knew which reporters were going to be called upon and what their questions would be. And one NFL star was not exactly happy about this revelation.

After seeing the now-viral photo of Biden’s notes on Twitter, Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari, who is a three-time All-Pro, had some strong words from Joe Biden, saying that these pre-determined questions were “a bit too far” and suggesting that it was just “one big play.”

“Can we have authentic and real NON-SCRIPTED interviews?? I understand and agree with prepping someone (like studying for a test) but this is a bit too far. It’s just one big play..,” Bakhtiari said in a tweet.

Obviously, Bakhtiari’s comments caused quite a stir on social media, eliciting plenty of reactions.

In a later tweet, Bakhtiari claimed that this is not the way NFL players conduct post-game interviews.

“Nope. We get generic points that’ll be ask and suggestions of how to navigate our answers. For the most part it is a free for all from the questions, to the answers,” he said in a tweet.

Maybe politicians should be subject to the same interview conditions as NFL players.
