Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid clarified his thoughts on Taylor Swift and her relationship with All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce. The two-time Super Bowl champion head coach has zero issues with the couple so long as Kelce reels in performances like the one he pulled off on Sunday.

Kelce caught 12 passes and recorded 179 yards on Sunday against the Chargers. The two-time Super Bowl champion tight end also reeled in a touchdown from Patrick Mahomes, making it a complete effort from No. 87.

Recently, he’s been in the spotlight for his relationship with the pop mega-star Swift. She’s attended several of his games, including Sunday’s against LA.

And his head coach doesn’t mind a bit.

“Kelce… keeps getting better with time. Taylor can stay around all she wants,” Reid said to reporters after the game. The press room erupted in laughter following the two-time Super Bowl champion coach’s quip.

Funnily enough, it’s apparent that Kelce has played better with Swift in attendance. Adam Schefter pointed out that Travis has averaged over 100 yards per game with Taylor in attendance and far fewer when she’s not.

“Facts are facts: In the four games Taylor Swift has been in attendance, Travis Kelce is averaging 108 receiving yards per game. In the games she was not, he’s averaging 46.5,” he said.

Well, it sounds like they may need to have her in the house more often.
