LSU Tigers star Angel Reese wasted no time deciding on the next path for her career. The talented Reese will enter the 2024 WNBA Draft, which is one of the most anticipated drafts in league history.

Reese is likely not the first star to enter her name in the Draft, but is just the latest. LSU won the National Championship in 2023 thanks to Reese and her contributions on a memorable title run.

Now, it’s her turn to try and prove herself professionally amongst the best.

Reese officially declared with a post on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

“Grateful for these last four years and excited for this next chapter,” Reese said. “#BAYOUBARBIEOUT,” she finished the post with.

Reese leaves LSU with a ton of accolades under her belt. She began her career at Maryland where she was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team and an All-Defense selection as well. In the 2021-22 season, she was named to the All-Big Ten team.

Then she transferred to LSU and kept the momentum going. She won the NCAA Tournament with LSU and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, to their All-Tourney team, and the All-Region team. She then won the SEC Player of the Year Award in the 2023-24 season and was an All-SEC Tourney team selection this year as well.

Good luck to Reese in her pro playing career!
