Miami Dolphins star EDGE Bradley Chubb sustained an injury in Sunday’s loss against the Baltimore Ravens. Sadly for Chubb and the Dolphins, the prospects don’t look great.
Chubb is feared to have torn his ACL. Pro Football Talk reported the grim forecast for the former NC State Wolfpack star.
“Dolphins fear Bradley Chubb tore ACL in knee,” PFT wrote. They added that they’ve scheduled an MRI for the star defender for New Year’s Day morning.

This would be a crushing blow to the Dolphins before the NFL Playoffs. The Dolphins are in danger of seeing their AFC East lead evaporate in Week 18. They will play the Buffalo Bills in what’s poised to be a winner-take-all game for the division. Both teams are set to make the playoffs, so this will affect seeding. A Dolphins loss next week would send them down the rungs and force them to go on the road.
Their journey to the postseason just got demonstrably harder without Chubb. hey already lost center Connor Williams and appeared out of sync against the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. It’s seemingly gone from bad to worse in Miami and it’s not entirely over yet.
For Miami, the best they can hope for now is that they can sustain the blow and Chubb can come back next season healthy.
