The loss sent the Eagles down to 11-5 with one game remaining. There’s a slim difference between the Eagles and the rival Dallas Cowboys, who now have taken the top spot in the NFC East. Dallas defeated the Detroit Lions in a thrilling game on Saturday night between two of the top NFC teams. The win was crucial for Dallas, who are now up two games on the Lions following the victory. If things hold, Philly would be the top Wild Card team, while the Cowboys would win the division. After the Eagles held the league’s best record at the start of the month, it’s a wild fall from grace.
Resentment might now be at an all-time high in Philadelphia. After the loss, reactions started to pour out from unhappy fans and Philadelphia media. In summation, everyone is unhappy.
