Jalen Hurts made NFL history on Christmas. The Philadelphia Eagles’ star quarterback plowed ahead for his fifteenth rushing touchdown this NFL season.
No quarterback has ever rushed for more in a single season.
The Eagles are currently playing their longtime NFC East rival, the New York Giants. While that second half got off to an auspicious start, the first half went very well for Philly. That doesn’t even include Hurts’ history-making touchdown.
“JALEN HURTS HAS MADE NFL HISTORY,” ESPN loudly proclaimed.

Hurts’ dynamic play has made him one of the most exciting players in the NFL the last few years. Last season, Hurts and the Eagles made a run all the way to Super Bowl LVII. They fell to the Kansas City Chiefs but Hurts played incredibly during that game.
While this year hasn’t been as efficient, loud, or as exciting, it’s clear that what Hurts is doing is still working. The Eagles have had their struggles but still remain in position to make the NFL Playoffs. Sometimes, it’s a little push like that. It’s all you might need… Sort of like the “Tush Push” that has led to may of these rushing touchdowns.
See how we connected that there? Merry Christmas to the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, who likely isn’t done making NFL history anytime soon.
