NFL superstar Jalen Ramsey has missed the entire NFL season thus far, but he made a massive move toward his return to the field.
Ramsey, who the Miami Dolphins acquired in the offseason, had surgery on his knee earlier this summer. The surgery sent him to Injured Reserve, but he was hopeful to return this season. Ramsey made a massive push toward a return on Wednesday as the superstar cornerback practiced for the Dolphins.
“Look at this,” Miami reporter Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post wrote. Schad posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Ramsey, Xavien Howard, and Nik Needham were “all practicing for Miami Dolphins and eligible to play on Sunday vs. Patriots.”

The news of Ramsey’s return to practice comes at a convenient time for the Dolphins. Two star players who didn’t practice on Wednesday were speedster Raheem Mostert and All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill. If they’re potentially going to lose two offensive stars, well, it’s perhaps only fair that they may gain the presence of their prized offseason acquisition.
Ramsey has starred for the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars. He won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams in the 2021-22 season.
Jalen has yet to suit up for Miami but when he does, he figures to be a focal point on an already strong defensive unit. Especially in the secondary, where he’ll join Howard and Jevon Holland.
