The Minnesota Twins are hosting a softball clinic this year. On Friday, the team announced that a big fish will be the headline attraction at the clinic. USA Softball legend Jennie Finch, a former Olympic Gold Medalist and Softball Hall of Famer, will be the headline speaker at the camp, the team revealed.
The Twins made the reveal on X, the popular website formerly known as Twitter.
“Jennie Finch, Olympic Gold Medalist and National Softball Hall of Fame member, is the headline speaker at the Minnesota Twins Softball Coaches Clinic!” they boasted.

It’s hard to find more legit names in the softball world, past or present, than Finch. She’s hung around the sport and has been involved with Major League Baseball for nearly a quarter-century now. Finch is one of the most recognizable women’s athletes of this century and one of the most dominant. She’s been a terrific ambassador for the game throughout her life as well.
In 2004, she and Team USA won the Olympic gold medal in softball at the Athens Summer Games.
So it’s safe to say that this is a smart choice by the Twins. The team said that the clinic would be open to all youth softball coaches of “all levels” and included a registration link. So, you’ll want to act if that’s your alley.
