The Pittsburgh Steelers have some questions at quarterback going into 2024. However, the team seems ready to push their chips in with one of their players.

Steelers general manager Omar Khan appeared to put all of his faith behind Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett. The former Pitt quarterback came into the league with meager expectations. While the team has had struggles on offense, they’re not giving up on Pickett quite yet.

Alex Kozora of Steelers Depot wrote that Khan “expressed complete confidence” in Pickett. Kozora wrote a story on Steelers Depot that he posted on X, the website formerly known as Twitter.

Khan addressed the media about the quarterback situation at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Thursday.

“I have full faith in Kenny,” Khan said via Steelers Depot. “he’s shown us some good things. Obviously, there were some issues with the offense, and I’m excited about the impact that Arthur Smith’s gonna have on him. Arthur’s very optimistic about Kenny. I know they’ve communicated.”

While Khan said there would be a competition this summer, there’s plenty of faith to go around for Pickett.

In his career, Pickett’s played in 25 games. He’s thrown for 4,474 career yards and 13 career passing touchdowns. Last season, he threw for 2,070 yards, completed 62 percent of his 324 pass attempts, and threw six touchdowns and four interceptions. He split time with Mason Rudolph and Mitchell Trubisky throughout the 2023 NFL season.
