A pick-six is a beautiful thing.

It becomes extra special when it’s done by a defensive tackle.

During the second quarter of Saturday’s Mountain West matchup as Utah State hosted Nevada, Wolf Pack quarterback AJ Bianco was sacked and then picked off by Seni Tuiaki who took it all the way for a touchdown.

A return on 63 yards for a pick-six after linebacker Anthony Switzer made the hit on Bianco.

Things you absolutely love to see.

Nevada’s offense continued to struggle after heading into Saturday’s matchup already going up against the Aggies who possess some of the best stats in the air. A total 2,528 passing yards and 27 passing touchdowns heading into the game.

And as far as the defense goes, well it speaks for itself.

The big concern heading into the game was Bianco’s lack of effectiveness. The redshirt freshman has been the pass caller for an offense that has been — well, to put it lightly, lacking.

Utah remained the odds favorite heading into Saturday. The surplus of injuries for the Pack certainly helped those numbers, but Utah State is the better team offensively.

The Pack was eliminated from any bowl contention last week, but the Aggies could find themselves heading toward the postseason if they win two of its final three games.
