Monday morning on SportsCenter, Brock Lesnar announced his opponent for UFC 200 – Mark Hunt.

Lesnar, who is 5-3 as a professional MMA fighter and 4-2 in the UFC, hasn’t fought since a December 2011 loss to Alistair Overeem. He’ll still wrestle for WWE at Summerslam in August.

Hunt has an iron chin and can take a shot like no one else in the UFC. His career MMA record is 12-10-1, though he’s 7-4-1 in the UFC. Despite his status as a “stand and bang” fighter, Hunt hasn’t been submitted in a fight since September of 2010. He’s on a two fight winning streak, knocking out both Antonio Silva and Frank Mir (Lesnar’s old rival) in the first round.

This is going to be one hell of a fight. If Lesnar is able to get Hunt to the ground, he might be able to pound him out. But if Hunt’s takedown defense remains strong, he could put Lesnar’s lights out easily, much like both Overeem and Cain Velasquez did in Lesnar’s final two UFC fights.
