Just watch this Matrix level goalkeeping from Alessandro Caparco of CSMS Iasi. In a game against Cluj over the weekend, Caparco makes not one, not two, but three saves from point blank range. Finally, the crossbar denies Cluj a certain goal for a final time in a remarkable series of events.
A triple save, with most of the acrobatics coming from behind his own goalline! The 32 year old Caparco played for several years in Italy’s lower leagues before moving abroad to Romania. Surely one of European soccer’s insanely rich and somewhat crazy owners will see this clip and demand that he be signed on a transfer immediately, right?
