It was a wild night last Saturday, as Floyd Mayweather faced off against John Gotti III, the grandson of the late mobster John Gotti.

Gotti became upset when he was disqualified from the contest, which kicked off a brawl in the ring after the fight. According to TMZ Sports, the Florida State Athletic Commission announced that they have decided to suspend Gotti for six months, which means any rematch between the two will be put on hold for a while.

Gotti tried to throw multiple punches at Mayweather and that’s when several other people jumped into the ring joining in the melee.

Mayweather won’t be suspended because he didn’t participate. After a few hours according to TMZ, the two had a conversation and that’s when a rematch was brought up.

If there is a rematch, they won’t be able to do so until the end of the calendar year, at least in Florida. That doesn’t mean, however, they can’t fight somewhere else like Las Vegas or New York.

That brawl wasn’t the only one that night. Former Love and Hip Hop star Joseline Hernandez got into it with a former co-star which ended up with the star being arrested.

It’s a miracle that Gotti didn’t face the same fate since he started a brawl.
