We have seen countless fans show their emotions following a loss in the NCAA Tournament. However, an incredibly sad mascot has caught the attention of the NCAA Tournament after an extremely creepy photo emerged on social media.
The Kentucky Wildcats came away with a 61-53 win over the Providence Friars on Friday night, largely thanks to an unbelievable 25-rebound performance from star center Oscar Tshiebwe.
The Friars’ mascot was seen after the game extremely dejected, perhaps even more than the average fan watching at home. Josh Graham of WSJS radio in North Carolina captured a picture of the mascot eerily staring at the wall outside of the media workroom after the loss.
“With the lord as my witness, the Providence mascot was just outside the media work room staring at a wall for close to five minutes. I’m shaken,” tweeted Graham.

It certainly requires an extreme amount of dedication to the program to be so upset that you stare at a wall for around five minutes. At the very least, Providence fans now know that their mascot cares deeply about their basketball program.
