Monday’s college basketball game between Texas A&M-Commerce and Incarnate Word would have largely been forgotten about by most college basketball fans if things ended after the final buzzer. However, the two teams engaged in a wild brawl after the game, which fans certainly took notice of.
Texas A&M-Commerce was able to come away with a 76-72 victory in the game. As the two teams began to shake hands after the game, it appears that something was said between the two teams that riled up both sides.
Both benches then cleared, and punches started flying quickly. The broadcasters’ analysis of what was happening really encapsulates how serious things got in the brawl.
“Oh no, this is not good,” the play-by-play man said as the two benches began to get in each other’s faces. “This is really not good. We’ve got punches being thrown, this is really bad. Oh my goodness. This is not what you want to see after what has been a great game. We’ve got everything going on.”
