The Auburn Tigers have had enough issues this year and their season just has gotten worse. Head coach Bryan Harsin announced that cornerback AD Diamond has left the program.

Diamond, who was a standout with Blount High Schoo Mobile, ALl, had at first committed to Louisana Tech before he flipped to Auburn.

Diamond was recruited by former Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, but hasn’t seen any significant playing time with the team this season.

With his departure, part of Auburn’s 2021 recruiting class is gone.

Defensive lineman Zykeivous Walker and wide receiver Landen King also left the team. Walker left the team following the Georgia game and announced Monday his intent to transfer, and King announced Tuesday night his plans to enter the transfer portal after the season, opting to sit out the rest of the season earlier this month.

Auburn also lost former quarterback Bo Nix to the transfer portal and he is now having a Heisman-type season with the Oregon Ducks. Nix has seemed to revitalize his career since leaving Auburn and has his team right in the middle of the College Football Playoff hunt.

It’s expected that Harsin will be out soon at Auburn, which may be why several players have decided to leave the program as it could be viewed as a sinking ship.
