Last summer, the Big Ten conference caused quite a stir in the college football world when they announced the decision to add USC and UCLA to the conference with the schools leaving the Pac-12. But according to a recent report, those aren’t the last Pac-12 schools the Big Ten will target.
According to a report from Saturday Out West, the Big Ten is not done targeting Pac-12 schools and could be interested in luring four more programs away from the Pac-12.
“If anyone thinks the Big Ten isn’t coming back for more, they’re not following along,” an industry source told Saturday Out West this week.
Saturday Out West reports that they believe Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and California would be “the dream addition” for the Big Ten if the conference can finance the move. But if the Big Ten can only find a way to fund two new teams, Oregon and Washington are the two preferred programs.
“I’m not sure it has to be an equal (Big Ten) share, either,” another source told Saturday Out West. “It just has to be more than what (the Pac-12) can provide. If you’re asked to accept less to survive, the choice is easy.”
All in all, this is a pretty big report, and the college football world had plenty to say about it.

Article seems to start with the assumption that the Big Ten wouldn't just take two and stop, then uses that assumption to say that of course they will get more.
But it keeps not happening, which indicates to me that "take two and stop" is actually quite plausible. https://t.co/LfV9n7H3wv

The Big Ten doesn't have a commissioner. Ohio State and Michigan State do not have permanent presidents. https://t.co/w7bCpq4bya

“Washington, Oregon, Stanford and California — are the dream addition for the Big Ten if it can find the funding.”
Funding being the operate word for future Big-10 poaching of the PAC-12. https://t.co/pNL2Su3Fsq

It sure seems like college football realignment isn’t done yet.
