The Ohio State Buckeyes football community was hit with quite a scare this weekend as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline was taken to the hospital after crashing his UTV side-by-side. But it appears he’s going to be alright.

According to a report from Daniel Griffin of NBC4 in Columbus, Brian Hartline was taken to Riverside Memorial Hospital after a crash early Sunday morning.

“A Delaware County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed the crash happened at approximately 1:20 a.m. Sunday on Hartline’s property near Powell,” Griffin wrote on Sunday. “The spokesperson also confirmed Hartline was the driver of the UTV side-by-side involved in the crash.”

NBC4 was unable to report the extent of Hartline’s injuries initially, but Hartline himself chimed in on social media to provide an update on his condition.

“I appreciate everyones support. I crashed my side by side on my property and have been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. I am doing well,” Hartline said in a tweet on Sunday.

While the news of Hartline’s crash certainly unfortunate and scary, it’s definitely great to hear that he is doing well in the hospital and that his injuries do not seem to be all that serious.
