Alabama Crimson Tide stars Bryce Young and Will Anderson are both projected to be top-five picks in the upcoming NFL Draft according to most NFL Draft analysts and predictors. That means that the two longtime teammates will almost surely end up on different teams. The thought of that understandably makes Bryce Young a little bit nervous.

Both players formally declared for the NFL Draft on Monday morning, along with star running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and during a press conference, Bryce Young was asked what he would say to Will Anderson when he finally had a chance to hit him at full speed when they met in the NFL.

“Please take it easy. Remember all the good times we had,” Young joked. “Before we play I’ll probably send him a picture of us from freshman year.”

The good news for Young is that with the number of rules the NFL has in place to protect its quarterbacks, like the ever-controversial roughing the passer penalties, it won’t exactly be easy for Anderson to ever get a clean hit on his former Alabama Crimson Tide teammate.

Still, if Anderson gets a chance to put a hit on Young at the next level, he will surely take it.
