The storied college football career of USC Trojans star quarterback Caleb Williams is coming to a close as the player many have dubbed a generational quarterback prospect is nearing the end of what will almost certainly be the final season of his college career. As we approach that point, it’s provided a time to reflect back on his college career.

This week, Caleb Williams was asked how he would like to be remembered for his time with the USC Trojans. And while the question caught him off guard a little bit, he still came up with a pretty thoughtful answer

“I honestly haven’t thought of anything like that,” Williams honestly admitted. “I’d say a player that went out there and gave his all every play, every chance he got. I’d say a player that cared for his teammates. I’d say a player that wanted to go out there and win every single game that we had.”

While his career may not have gone the way he had hoped, never winning a national title or a Pac-12 title, he certainly had an exciting career that brought many thrilling moments to USC fans – as well as a Heisman Trophy. He’s certainly left a legacy for his individual accomplishments.

“So I’d say those, and obviously as a player, you want to go down and try to be one of the best and greatest players ever,” Williams said.
