Colorado coach Deion Sanders Syndication: The Register Guard

The Colorado Buffaloes came into Saturday as the hottest college football program in the nation.

So far, the Oregon Ducks have reminded them that they’re not quite all the way back just yet.

Deion Sanders’ squad got absolutely squashed in the first half on Saturday and found themselves down 35-0 at halftime.

ESPN sideline reporter Katie George shared with the audience what Sanders said to his team during the half.

“We’re gonna see what we’re made of,” Sanders reportedly told his players.

Meanwhile, Oregon coach Dan Lanning didn’t mince words when he had the chance to share a message at halftime.

“We’re not done. We’re not satisfied,” he said. “I hope those people that have been watching every week, are watching this week.”

Colorado got off to a hot start this season, defeating TCU and Nebraska, and cementing themselves as legit players in the Pac-12 race. They survived an upset attempt by Colorado State last week with a double-overtime win. However, Saturday was the first time they were playing a team that was a legit contender in 2023 and so far it has not gone well.

We’ll see if Sanders’ message gets through to his players or if the Buffaloes are coming back down to earth this weekend.
