This wasn’t exactly a dominant season for the Colorado Buffaloes as they finished with just a 4-8 record, but Deion Sanders still sounds quite optimistic about the future of his program after this season after making a few changes.

During a recent press conference, Deion Sanders opened up about what he sees as the next steps for the Colorado Buffaloes after this season as they prepare for another one.

“Understanding what we’re capable of, and what it takes to get to that level of consistency, of practice habits, of study habits, of holding one another accountable. Me not having to do all the yelling. The coaches taking a part of that as well. We established some things that are foundational. When these new young men come in here, it’s established in stone,” Sanders said according to On3.

“They’ve just got to proceed with caution, so to speak. The guys that are here, they understand this is how it is. This is how it’s going to be. We’re going to make sure the standard is the standard.”

We’ll have to see what sort of changes the Buffaloes make over the offseason and how they’re able to improve before the start of next season.
