The Duke Blue Devils may be used to dominating the Clemson Tigers in basketball, that’s expected. But not this. The Blue Devils did something no one saw coming, They totally dominated the Clemson Tigers as both teams opened their college football seasons Monday night.

The Blue Devils won the game on defense. Clemson had chances and moved the ball well at times.

But the Tigers made a lot of mistakes. And when that happened, the Blue Devils defense made them pay.

And while Duke wasn’t overpowering offensively, the Blue Devils made the big plays when they needed them.

College football fans were stunned to see the once-dominant Clemson Tigers, one of the favorites to win the ACC, get pushed around by the Blue Devils.

It was a shocker no one saw coming on their 2023 college football bingo card and now with this loss, the No. 9 Tigers find themselves fighting for their lives for the rest of the season to make the College Football Playoffs.

College football fans had a ball ripping Clemson and head coach Dabo Swinney after their loss.

The last time Duke defeated a top 10 team was 1989 and the victim that night? you guess it the Clemson Tigers.

The truth of the matter is, that the Clemson dynasty may have officially died in Durham, North Carolina Labor Day night and even Clemson fans know it.
