Last year, the Alabama Crimson Tide fell to the Tennessee Volunteers in what was a hard-fought and thrilling college football game. And as Alabama prepares to face Tennessee again this year, quarterback Jalen Milroe has one strong memory of last year’s game: the atmosphere.

During his press conference this week, Jalen Milroe made it clear to Tennessee that their fans showed up and created an incredible environment for a game. And now, he expects the Alabama fans to do the same when the game is played in Tuscaloosa this weekend.

“I would say one thing, the atmosphere was great. The atmosphere was great,” Milroe said according to On3. “Our fans are going to be great this weekend, I know that for sure. With the juice they bring, the energy they bring. I’m excited for that. But of course, we didn’t come out on top during the game, so we have to look at it as a learning moment. Not linger in that, but to learn with some things we did wrong during that game, and try to improve for this game.

“Just acknowledge that we’re not a finished product, by any means. So I think that’s very key, and like I said, there’s a challenge that’s going to be held this weekend, so we’re excited to you know, face it this weekend.”

We’ll have to see if Alabama can get their revenge this year after last year’s disappointing loss.
