During last year’s Peach Bowl matchup with the Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs defensive back Javon Bullard knocked Ohio State star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. out of the game with a controversial hit that was initially deemed targeting but was overturned after review. And he thinks it’s time for Ohio State fans to stop talking about the hit.
There’s been conversation about the hit throughout the offseason as Ohio State fans continue to insist it should have been called targeting – an argument which is corroborated by the Big Ten head of officiating. But Javon Bullard thinks everyone should move on.
“I’ll be honest. That play happened in December, and that you’re still talking about it is really not my fault. We moved on from that,” Bullard said according to UGASports.com. “We played a game after that and going into another season. That play’s over, man. I don’t have too much to say about that. It’s over, it’s done with; we’re preparing ourselves for camp.”

Bullard also drew the ire of Marvin Harrison Jr. and Ohio State fans after it was revealed that he was signing photographs of the hit with the inscription “night night.”
But it sounds like he wants to move on at this point.
