Marvin Harrison Jr. Sep 09, 2023; Columbus, OH, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (18) runs in a touchdown in the first quarter of their NCAA football game against Youngstown State.

Marvin Harrison Jr. has established himself as arguably the best wide receiver in Ohio State Buckeyes history over the past two seasons, but there’s one major thing missing from his career so far – a win over Michigan.

During an interview session this week, Marvin Harrison Jr. made it clear just how important it is for him to notch a win over Michigan this season to end his career with the Buckeyes. According to Harrison, this isn’t just a big game for the Buckeyes, it’s a legacy-defining game for Ohio State players.

“We all go in there and debate in the locker room who has the best class, who’s the best team, and probably the No. 1 question you have to ask is, ‘Did you beat the team up north?’ I think it always starts there,” Harrison said according to Eleven Warriors. “That’s a deciding factor I would say, on where your class ranks, as far as legacy-wise. I think what definitely matters most is that game.”

Harrison will have a chance to solidify that Ohio State legacy on Saturday afternoon when the Buckeyes travel to Ann Arbor to take on the Wolverines. Michigan enters the game as a 3.5-point favorite, so we’ll see if Harrison and the Buckeyes can overcome the odds.
