It’s no secret to anyone who has watched college football so far this season that Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is arguably the best wide receiver in the entire country. Harrison has made quite a few absolutely insane circus catches this season, including maybe his best one yet last week, and he did it again on the first play of Ohio State’s game against the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday.
On the very first play of the Buckeyes’ road showdown with Maryland, Ohio State’s star quarterback C.J. Stroud dropped back to pass and threw one deep down the right sideline to Marvin Harrison Jr. as he streaked down the field. It was an absolutely perfect pass right over his shoulder, and Harrison made an even better one-handed catch despite obvious pass interference from the Maryland defender.

The referee threw the penalty flag due to the egregious defensive pass interference, but it ultimately didn’t matter since Harrison made the circus catch.
It was even more proof that Harrison is the most dominant receiver in the entire country, and the college football world had plenty to say about it on Saturday afternoon.
Marvin Harrison Jr. waits all of one snap to make a ridiculous catch.

Marvin Harrison Jr. starts the game by doing what he's done all season: Making a spectacular catch. Of the one-handed variety this time.

My lord, another ridiculous catch by Marvin Harrison Jr. to start the game. And it's a DPI on Maryland to boot.

Marvin Harrison Jr best receiver in college and it’s not even close

Harrison, of course, is the son of Indianapolis Colts Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison. And based on the plays the younger Harrison is making on a regular basis, he might be following in his father’s footsteps.
