It’s usually the college football plays who go viral on fall Saturdays for their play on the field, but during Saturday afternoon’s game between the Virginia Cavaliers and the North Carolina Tar Heels, it was one young fan who stole the show for his extremely messy antics while attending the game.
There was plenty of rain in Virginia ahead of Saturday afternoon’s game, and that usually leads to some unpleasant conditions for anyone hoping to watch the game in some lawn seats. But it appears that one young fan made the most out of those conditions – much to the delight of the college football world.
During the third quarter of the game, cameras captured a child “living his best life” in the messy conditions. The kid had his hair dyed and face painted blue and was shirtless as he slid and rolled in the mud.

It was quite a hilarious scene, and the college football world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.

Yes there is a kid sliding in the mud but the big news is Virginia leading UNC 21-17. (Wait UNC is leading now before I finished this tweet) pic.twitter.com/2UzjZctaxu

While the kid was undoubtedly having the time of his life, the team he was rooting for did not have a great day as the Virginia Cavaliers fell to the North Carolina Tar Heels by a score of 31-28. But at least he had some fun.
